Geocache Description:

***The cache is NOT at the posted coordninates*** - but you can park here!

I think this place should be renamed Summersby Falls, as it is the most perfect place to be on a hot Summer's day to escape the heat.  When I was doing just that - escaping the heat - I came up with an idea to utilise Somersby Falls as part of a multi type cache to showcase some of the parts that people never go to, that are almost more impressive then the original falls themselves.  The cache is hidden outside of National Park to comply with the rules!

At each waypoint you will need to match up the photos on the cache page and rearrange them in the order that you come across them as you go down the magnificant creek.  So take a print out of the page with you to make it easier

The cache can be found at S 33 ab.cde E 151 fg.hij, where 'a' would equal the number that is on the first photo that you come across.  The photos could have been taken facing any direction so be alert.

As the creek is suitably named Floods Creek, you should be careful after heavy rainfall.

Be careful there a many Slippery Surfaces - (We really need a slippery surfaces attribute!) and wear clothing you wouldn't mind getting wet... Who could resist a shower under the falls anyway?  Shoes are not necessary, in fact I find it easier with out them.

You may also be lucky enough to spot some creek wildlife in the area (bush turkies, yabbies, tadpoles, eels, leeches...), there is even a chicken patroling one of the waypoints at the moment? I wonder how long she will last?

There a picnic tables near the carpark so bring the familiy and some lunch

This will probably take about an hour to complete, but I recommend taking it slow and making a day of it. Just have a good time P.S. I have intentionally left a geochecker off the page as I really want people complete the walk and get the whole experience of the cache instead of brute forcing the coordinates and guessing the order.
