When Graham Chapman, who played the role of Brian in the film, died from cancer in 1989:
"Those present at the time of Chapman's death in Maidstone Hospital included his partner David Sherlock, brother, sister-in-law, and his former Python fellows John Cleese and Michael Palin, who had to be led out of the room to deal with their grief."
2 months later, all the Pythons got together for a memorial service:

As for the cache:
The bright idea for the Monty Python series came from my night caching mentor. The posted co-ords will take you to the starting point, which is not accessible by car. Here you will find a large sign explaining all about the Great North walk. Follow the trail north, across the creek, along the boardwalk and up the steps. During this ascent you will start to see the reflectors, which are placed here and there but always on trees beside the path. When you see 2 reflectors together, you are getting close. A few metres further look for a branch off the path with 4 horizontal reflectors together. Follow the direction of this branch for a few metres, and you should be on top of it. There are a couple of large drops nearby, so be careful, but there is no need to do anything dangerous.
