Terra Nova Natural Area is home to a variety of mammals including: coyotes, raccoons, skunks, beavers and river otters. The pond in front of this platform is connected to a watercourse which totally surrounds 20 acres of grassland and forest. This water provides a buffer between people and wildlife. Dogs are NOT allowed off-leash on the trail system.
