A multi-cache where the information is sourced from Jamieson and the final is at Corduroy Gap between Jamieson and Howqua on the Mansfield-Jamieson road. Corduroy Gap is 350 m above sea level with roadside parking.

Jamieson is located in the Mansfield Shire with a population of around 270 people. It is a picturesque township that is especially beautiful in the Autumn months. It is 60 km from Eildon and 36 km from Mansfield on the Mansfield-Woods Point Road.
History:
Jamieson is a small town found in Central Victoria at the confluence of the Jamieson and Goulburn Rivers. It is believed to have been named after shepherd George Jamieson who was a sheep grazer in the area in the 1850s. Jamieson was first settled 1860 and was heavily influenced by the discovery of local gold. Within a year approximately 300 people (mostly men) were living in the area looking and looking for gold. The Jamieson Post Office officially opened 18 January 1858 and the town was surveyed four years later in 1862. By the late 1800s most mining had ceased due to reduced returns. In 1939 wildfires devastated the area with 71 lives being lost across Victoria. Corduroy Gap was named after a Corduroy Road, this is an old road type made of parallel logs forming a passable road.
