"A Non-Traditional Month" Challenge Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

IgnotusPeverell: Greetings. I'm IgnotusPeverell, one of the volunteer reviewers for geocaches submitted to Geocaching.com.

I can't find any recent responses from MamaMarmot about maintaining this cache which makes it appear they are either unwilling or unable to maintain this geocache. Cache maintenance includes: replacing broken or missing containers, replacing full or wet logs, updating any changes to the text, updating coordinates, removing the needs maintenance attributes, enabling the listing, and more. Check out all of a geocache owner's responsibilities here. This cache is being archived, and removed from the active cache listings.

"If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived."

Thanks for your understanding,

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

The cache is at the posted coordinates. However, to qualify for the challenge and sign the log, you must first find at least one non-traditional cache every day for 30 consecutive days.

This challenge is designed to encourage cachers to try a variety of different cache types and enjoy some of the phenomenal multis, virtuals, earth caches, events, webcams, whereigos, letterbox hybrids, and mystery caches in the area (and beyond!). With >400 active, non-traditional caches in Albuquerque alone, there are lots of caches to choose from! Who knows, you may have so much fun, that you'll want to continue your streak even longer!

Rules:
1) Before logging this cache, you must first find at least 1 non-traditional cache every day for 30 consecutive days.
2) Include the GC Codes and dates of your qualifying caches in your log or post a public bookmark list of your 30 qualifying non-traditionals.*

*This is not required, but if you are able to include a note or two about your favorite caches in your log or bookmark list, that would be great--it will point others cachers to quality non-traditionals and may help others complete the challenge.

Notes:
You may log as many traditional caches as you want as long as you also log at least one non-traditional cache every day for 30 consecutive days. This cache does not count toward the challenge, but you may find and log this cache on the 30th day if you find another non-traditional on day 30 first. The 30 days can start at any time--the finds don't all have to be in the same calendar month. Caches may be anywhere in the world, and qualifying caches you found in the past may be used for the challenge.

The Cache Container:
There is a $3 day-use fee for using Forest Service Land (unless you have a pass). The cache is a round 3" diameter lock & lock inside a much larger container, just a few feet off the trail--plenty of room for travel bugs and other swag. As always, when caching in the desert, keep an eye out for things that poke or bite. Please use stealth and replace the container as you found it. Original contents include some rings, Mardi Gras beads, "Girl Power" bracelet, a running bracelet, log, and a geocoin. The coin was my own FTF prize for the Koneko Challenge--100 non-traditionals in a row. Figured it was time to pass it along. I'll send a coin adoption request to the FTF.

Good luck, and happy caching!
