'Petals Around The Rose' is a fairly simple mathematical puzzle. You could go ahead and 'Google it', but wouldn't that spoil the sense of achievement of cracking it on your own? It bewildered Bill Gates for a few hours back in 1977, but I'm sure you can do better.
Rules of the game:
- The name of the game is 'Petals Around the Rose', and this is significant.
- Each roll of the five dice gives a score, which will always be zero or an even number.
- You simply need to work out how the score is calculated.
