It's time for another AFTERPALOOZA CITO!
Join us on Sunday January 18, 2015 at the Kitching Creek Pavilion for the Park sign in and briefing by the Park Rangers at 9:30am. Our cleanup will end by 12 Noon

UPDATE 1/10/15. This year the Park will have two (2) locations to greet cachers due to traffic flow challenges. At both locations you will need to fill out the Park’s Volunteer paperwork (as you did last year) in order to participate in the CITO. You only need to check in at 1 of the locations.

CHECK IN LOCATIONS:

Location 1: Kitching Creek Main Pavillion (CITO Posted Coordinates)

Location 2: Ranger Station Parking Lot (at main entrance to the Park)
If you are driving into the Park between 8:00am and 9:45am, please meet at this location.

At 9:45am, BOTH locations will be abandoned so that the Rangers and participants can head over to the CITO work area for a pre-work briefing.

Please try to be early.

CITO Work Area: N 27 01.023, W 080 06.643 (entrance to parking area)
Directions: Drive to Hobe Tower and pass the Tower on your right. You will be ushered through the nearby gate to park along that roadway. Then head over to be briefed by Park Rangers. Bring gloves, water, energy, and good spirits.

Work Scope:

Exotic Plant Removal Program & Litter Removal: This includes Smooth Rattlebox and Periwinkles. More information will be provided during the Ranger Briefing.
