Geocache Description:

This series of caches is located along the Yellowstone ATV trail.  Most of the caches are close to the trail.  Most are pretty easy.  If you start this series you will see a pattern as to how they are hidden.

It is interesting the way things are named.  I am quite certain that the Yellowstone River/Canyon here in the Uintah Basin were named because of the Yellow Ledges that are found near these caches.  The caches are near the trail, but one of them is near a lookout where you can see the Yellow Ledges from above.  It is a beautiful view.  I had seen the Yellow Ledges before, but did not realize that they also had formations/pinnacles with them.  The entire hike from first to last is probably less than 1.5 miles.  If you have an ATV, then it is even easier.  Enjoy.  If there is a problem with the caches let me know.  As with most caches in the forest there can be some interference with GPS receivers.  As I mentioned above, these should be easy once the pattern is established.
