SS FORERUNNER (1854)
O FORERUNNER, um antigo barco a vapor Inglês construído em 1852, afundou em 1854 durante a navegação a partir de Serra Leoa à Grã-Bretanha. Ele agora está em um fundo rochoso, a uma profundidade entre 14 e 29 metros, cercado por cardumes de peixes verdes, peixes papagaio e bogas. Um grande mero estacionário vive dentro do chaminé velho, mas perfeitamente preservado.
Encontros com barracudas, peixes gatilho e arraias são comuns.
The FORERUNNER, an ancient English steam boat built in 1852, wrecked in 1854 while sailing from Sierra Leone to Great Britain. It now lies on a rocky bottom, at a depth between 14 and 29 meters, surrounded by schools of ornate wrasses, parrotfish and bogues. A big, stationary grouper lives inside the old, but perfectly preserved, chimney.
Encounters with barracudas, trigger fish and eagle rays are common.
