SLO:

Sv. Lovrenc oziroma Gora je 1019m visoka vzpetina nad vasjo Studeno približno 10km od Postojne in sicer v hribovitem grebenu Hrušice, ki ga sestavlja več vrhov (Lipovec, Planinska gora… ),

Pogled z vrha nam na severno stran sicer zastira gozd, se pa zato proti jugu odpira lep razgled proti Postojni, ter naprej proti Javornikom, Snežniku, ter ob lepem vremenu vse do Učke. Na jugovzhodu vidimo Slivnico in pod njo Cerkniško jezero, na nasproti strani pa prepoznaven greben Nanosa.

Tik pod vrhom stoji cerkev Sv. Lovrenca, katera se omenja že od leta 1391 kot podružnica hrenoviške župnije, zvonik pa ima letnico 1671.

Dostop:

V Postojni se držimo tabel za Postojnsko jamo, nato pa mimo te nadaljujemo še približno 5km do križišča, kjer zavijemo desno v smeri Studeno/Planina. Od tu se držimo glavne ceste do vasi Studeno, kjer pri cerkvi zavijemo levo na pot, ki vodi med hišami do parkirišča, od koder pelje pot do vrha. Iz parkirišča zavijemo po stezi med dvema tablama in po cca 50m zavijemo levo (glej tablo Sv. Lovrenc).

Pot:                       

Pot se relativno strmo, vendar enakomerno vzpenja ves čas. Prvi del poti nas vodi skozi gozd, nato se pa po slabi polovici poti le-ta razredči; od tu dalje se vzpenjamo po travnatem področju vse do cerkvice. Vrh se pa skriva še približno 5-10 minut hoje zahodno od cerkve.

Sam vzpon vam bo vzel nekje od 20 minut, če boste tekli, lahko pa tudi uro in pol v primeru da boste uživali v lepotah narave in okolice :)

Do zaklada se lahko podate tudi s kolesom, vendar po drugi strani hriba - skozi vasi Beljsko in Gorenje, ter nato po gozdni makadamski poti do vrha.

Zakladek je 1,5l škatlica, ki vsebuje logbook, pisalo, ter nekaj stvari za menjavo.

St. Lovrenc or just Gora (mountain) is 1019 meters high hill, above the village Studeno, approximately 10km from the town Postojna. This peak is part of the hilly ridge Hrušica; other peaks are Lipovec, Planinska gora, etc.

From top of the mountain, there are nice view over landscape. In the direction of south, you can see the town Postojna and others hills named Javnorniki, Snežnik and in direction of west side Nanos. If you have lucky with a fine weather, when you are in in the top, you might even see the Istria`s hills Učka. In the direction of southeast you see the hill Slivnica (where by the legend lives the witches) and bellow the intermittent Cerknica lake.

Just below the top, there is small church named the same as the hill – St. Lovrenc. The church was first mention in 14. Century as succursal of nearby parish. Church belfry is very old - it boasts with the year 1671.

Access:

From the Postojna – you follow the sign to Postojnska jama (Postojna cave) and then you continued for about 5km to the junction, where you turn right in the direction of Studeno/Planina. From here, you keep the main road until you reach the village Studeno, where by the church turn left on the path that lead between houses to the parking area. From there, leads the mountain path to the peak.

Path:

The trail rise steeply, but steadily climb all the time.  The first part of the trail leads through the forest, and the further you climb, less and less forest and then you climb over grassy field all the way to the church. The summit is still 5-10 minutes walking distance west of the church.

The path will take you about one hour to hour and a half of moderate walking. If you are in a good condition and you will run to the top, the path will take just 20 minutes. Do not forget to enjoy in the beautiful nature.

Cache:

Cache is 1,5l box, which contain logbook, a pen and a few stuff for trading.
