Several nearby Earthcaches have just published (with more in the process) as options to help you earn your International EarthCache Day Souvenir (see: Your next souvenir reveals mysteries of the earth).
OPTIONAL Print-outs of several 5K EarthCache trails near the event will be available to help you earn your Earthcache Virtual 5K 2014-Celebrating 10 Years of EarthCaching souvenir (see: EarthCache virtual5k). There will be extra 5K run bibs at event site for your photo documentation to earn this souvenir if you have not printed off your own.
Should you desire to complete a 5K prior to event time and would like the trail information, please write a log stating your interest and we will post the trail options at this site.
10-9 ANNOUNCEMENT - For those of you with either church or other a.m. commitments and concerned about timing, DO NOT WORRY! The hosts will in all likely hood be around until well after 5 p.m. and you can check in at the last minute and still get credit to log the event. Our primary goal is to assist in helping you log an Earthcache (or more) and earn a souviner, much of which can be done later yet in the day, even after we leave. COME! The worst that will happen is that you miss out on the socialization and hot drinks will be gone!
10-10 ANNOUNCEMENT - Be sure and bring your Travel Bugs! We will be providing a TB login sheet which everyone can then copy from and discover your TBs. If you want to drop some TBs into the EVENT CACHE that would also be great as we will be going to Phoenix in a couple of weeks and drop them off in a TB hotel there. While Geocaching in Colorado is cooling off, the temp in Phx is just right with all the snowbirds coming in and geocaching is taking off and will go wide open much of the winter months. Great place for the bugs to go this time of year.
