The Richmond Nature Park bog is an environment in transition - changes in ground water level and the impact of invasive plant species threaten the fragile sphagnum bog. Volunteers are nurturing the best parts of the bog in Conservation Zones where invasive species are removed to ensure native species have a chance to survive.
This micro will ‘rise’ to the occasion! Bring a 1/2 litre bottle of water (don’t spill any!). Take the Bog Forest Trail. BYO pencil. No space for tradables or trackables. Please ensure you seal the container up tight. No pets allowed. Park opens daily 8am-dusk.
