Geocache Description:

No Zombies

This seems to be one of those unusual places that you'd probably never bother stopping to see if it weren't for Geocaching. I hope you enjoy your visit!

This site is billed as the one and only of its kind in America (once you’re there, you’ll see why).

Amazing Arcola, Illinois has a lot to brag about. Like being the hometown of the creator of Raggedy Ann, or the home of the annual Broomcorn Festival featuring the Lawn Rangers precision mowing team. Somewhere near the top of the bragging list is being the site of America's One and Only Hippie Memorial. Created by local artist, Bob Moomaw, this memorial celebrates the free spirit of love and peace in the 60’s flower children.

Have fun. Don’t forget to turn on your GPS, tune in to the satellites and drop out.

Well, you don’t have to drop out, I guess.

Special thank to both the city of Arcola and Gus Kelsey for giving me permission to place this cache.
