Geocache Description:

We placed this cache for our Caching at the Gorge 2014 event on Sep 27, 2014. It's an ammo box off the Upper Terrora Loop Trail.

Please place the cache back like you found it (e.g. well hidden) so it won't be discovered by muggles.

If you don't have a Georgia Park Pass, it costs $5 to park.

The Upper Terrora Loop trail is a path through the woods accessed from the Shortline Trail, a paved walking and biking trail that follows the roadbed of the old Tallulah Falls Railroad.  The Terrora Trail branches at waypoint N 34 44.727, W 083 24.182.  From that point, take the uphill branch to the cache.

Terrora is a Cherokee dialect variation of Tallulah.

Enjoy the cache and your visit to Tallulah Gorge State Park.

This cache was placed with permission of the Tallulah Gorge State Park manager. Please exercise responsible caching in our state parks so they'll continue to be friendly to geocachers!

DO NOT try to access this cache directly from Highway 441.
