Holy Trinity Chapel was originally built for private worship by the Bailie Cochrane family in 1857. The Chapel is now under the control of the Biggar Museum Trust. There is a couple of nice paintings apparently stored here such as 2 portraits of Catherine Glen and a painting of a Family of Travellers Resting by a Donkey. The chapel also has some very lovely stained glass windows and is well worth a walk around (See additional waypoints for location). The Biggar Museum Trust does allow the Chapel to be used as a filming location.
The cache is definitely different and is located along the road from the church. Parking in the layby at either side of the road or you could park at the other Church Micro and take a nice walk through the village past the school and the old bowling green. Enjoy
Congratulations to 3 kinnears for the FTF!
