"Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall."
On 9 November 1989, the Berlin Wall was finally torn down. Following this, several sections (over 100) were transported all around the world. One of them came to Canberra and stands outside the Harmonie German Club. A plaque nearby reads:
"This section of the Berlin Wall reminds us that no man made barrier can repress the spirit of freedom.
May we all unite to live in harmony, ensuring peace for further generations."
I feel that this location should be better known than it currently is, so I placed a cache here in the hopes that the word will spread.
