Ein spezieller Singvogel (Peculiaris interfuit oscen)

Die Singvögel sind in zahlreichen Familien aufgeteilt und stellen in der Hierarchie eine Unterordnung der Sperlingsvögel dar. Weltweit gibt es mehrere tausend Arten von Singvögeln. Das Wintergoldhähnchen ist der kleinste Singvogel und auch der kleinste Vogel Europas. Der grösste Vertreter in Europa ist der Kolkrabe mit bis zu 65cm Körpergrösse.

Singvögel strecken drei Zehen nach vorne und eine nach hinten. Deshalb können die Zehen einen Ast umklammern, so dass der Vogel auch im Schlaf nicht herunterfällt. Die Kralle an der Hinterzehe ist die grösste der vier Krallen. Das Besitzrecht auf ein Revier muss laufend neu angemeldet werden. So stellt der wunderschöne Gesang des Amselmännchens eine Art "Einladung zur Verhandlung" dar. Der Gesang wird oft von einem erhöhten Ort vorgetragen.

Dieser Cache ist unseren Geocachefreunden aus dem Tessin gewidmet (Event Bergolo) – wir hoffen aber auch vielen andern ein Lächeln „abringen“ zu können.

Der Standort ist nichts besonderes ... dafür der Start an der vi(v)a POIANA ;-)

Un Uccello canoro speciale (Peculiaris interfuit oscen)

Gli uccelli canori sono divisi in numerose famiglie e posto e una sottocategoria dei passeri formi. Esistono, in tutto il mondo, diverse migliaia di specie d’uccelli canori. Il regolo è il più piccolo uccello canterino e anche il più piccolo uccello d'Europa. Il più grande rappresentante di questa categoria in Europa è il corvo imperiale che raggiunge 65 centimetri.

Gli uccelli canori usano tre dita della zampa protesa in avanti ed uno all'indietro. Pertanto con le dita possono afferrare un ramo, in modo da non cadere durante il loro sonno. L'artiglio del dito posteriore è il più grande dei quattro artigli. Per difendere il proprio territorio il maschio deve riaffermarsi continuamente. In questo modo il canto meraviglioso del merlo maschio rappresenta anche un invito alla trattativa. Spesso questo canto territoriale viene per formato da una postazione alta.

A special Songbird (Peculiaris interfuit oscen)

The songbirds are divided into numerous families and are a suborder of the passerines. Worldwide, there are several thousand species of songbirds. The Goldcrest is the smallest songbird and also the smallest bird in Europe. The largest representatives in Europe is the common raven with a size of up to 65cm.

Songbirds have three toes pointing forward and one pointing backward. Therefore, the toes can grip a branch, so that the bird does not fall off while sleeping. The claw on the hind toe is the largest of the four claws. The territorial rights must continually be renewed. Thus, the beautiful song of the male blackbird represents an "invitation to negotiate". The song is often sung by an elevated place.

This cache is dedicated to our Geocaching friends from Ticino - but we hope to "wrest" a smile from many others, too.
