There are a few caches in the Puzzle Challenges over the years which have added to series started by other cachers. I think this series was started by Marky & Joani and continued by three or more other cachers. I'll let you know which series on the 15th. But, I'm sure that some of you will try (and perhaps succeed) to solve the puzzle before then. Interestingly enough, it was another one of my "series" puzzles that led me to this idea.

Special Notes about the 2014 Puzzle Challenge: To be considered for Fastest Solver points, you must verify your solution with certitude. All "point" scoring is arbitrary, subject to change, at the discretion of the cache owner, and probably completely meaningless (unless you just want to be announced sooner at the celebration party, and even that might not happen in the right order). The real challenge is just to see whether you can solve all of these caches by the end of the year. To maintain fairness, hints should not be offered by the cache owner or other solvers until the fifteenth of the month.
Special Notes about this month's cache: I've listed the container as Regular size, but the opening is more like a small; so not all full-sized trade items will fit. From where I parked, it was just under four miles roundtrip. Maybe you can find closer parking, if so, feel free to post your parking coordinates.
