The reason of the event: - As of August 31, we are 44 away from #1,000 after starting in May of 2012 - so I thought what better way then to celebrate our #1,000 
then to party with a bunch of friends we've met while geocaching. Of course it is possible we may not hit that # by that date but we will still party anyway.
In case of inclement weather (hopefully not)- I guess we will have to cram inside (san's fire)- but beware the house is lived in and my kids are crazy!
I plan to have some caches ready for release that day in several directions that cachers may arrive from. Sorry I don't think I'm creative enough for any night caches.
So we are going to have a fire:
I will have the logbook, flames and the firewood
I will have a few bags of marshmallows -
A few boxes of graham crackers -
Some of our favorite S'mores Snacks -
Attendees may want to bring a few of their favorite snacks for S'mores - as well as extra roasting sticks, bug spray may still be needed and camp chairs.
We will try to do a group photo about 7 p.m.
If you are coming from a long distance and plan to cache in the area - I do have room in my yard for camper trailers/Tents - I'm sure that we can squeeze a few in the yard!
