For centuries people from the beautiful medieval town of Echternach caught wolves by trapping them in the 'Gorge du Loup' or Wolf's Canyon. The cache is dedicated to the last wolf which was stoned to death here in 1871.
Wolf's Canyon is situated in a part of Luxembourg also known as 'Little Switzerland' because of its amazing rock formations and many caves and gorges. Giant trees work their way to the daylight above abundantly overgrown rocks. On warm humid days the area resembles a tropical rainforest.
Though rocks and trees can make it quite difficult, you'll be able to get a satellite fix when you really need one. No special climbing skills or gear required and you don't have to dig or turn stones.
