I remember seeing the 1982 movie E. T. the Extra-Terrestrial when I was growing up. Steven Spielberg's film was a blockbuster, surpassing Star Wars to become the highest-grossing film of all time—a record it held for ten years until Jurassic Park surpassed it in 1993. Nevertheless, it remains the highest-grossing film of the 1980's. But what I remember most is the music. John Williams did a superb job (as usual!). Spielberg loved the music for the final chase so much that he edited the sequence to suit it.

Chester Woods Park is open from 7 am to 10 pm. There is a $5/day charge for vehicles in the developed portion of the park and dogs are not allowed where this cache is hidden. See the waypoint for free parking. Follow the trail link to the Prairie Ridge Trail and then to the Zieman Loop Trail. Enjoy the wildlife, wildflowers, and geocaches in the park.
Expect to hike at least 3 miles round trip. So bring sturdy shoes/boots, water, sunscreen, and bug spray. Please stay to the side of groomed ski trails in the winter and avoid disturbing the sand prairie areas which are easily eroded. Permission to place this cache was given by the Park Supervisor.
