A flash mob happens when a lot of people gather together all at once, in an unexpected way from the point of view of others in the area. A Cache Mob happens when a group of Geocachers get together - you never know what will happen next.
The Event Schedule will be:
10:15am - Act like you are a Tobacco Farmer or Smoker - use your imagination
10:20am - Continue with Meet & Greet at posted coordinates - exchange TBs and tales
10:25am - Sign log and take picture
10:30am - Flash Mob over - disperse
Cache Mobs are a quick-moving event with little time for socializing, but anyone who wants to stay on afterwards and enjoy the morning touring the Tobacco Heritage Trail (THT) while chatting with your fellow geocachers are welcome to do so! There is an interesting GeoArt along the THT trail - along with some other interesting caches nearby.
We look forward to seeing all of our geocaching friends and meeting those of you whom we've not had the pleasure of meeting yet out on the trails!
