This cache is named after an aunt of the youngest of us. From the time she could talk, Shanae has always called her: ‘Favourite Auntie Rachel’. When writing to her, she simply wrote F.A.R. She does have other aunties but they live a long way away and are seldom seen, so would unlikely become her favourite. F.A.R. lived near here when the cache was placed and regularly exercised her dog on paths close to this cache.
The cache was originally an old plastic toy box, which came to be in our possession in early 2014, but over the years it got nibbled by an animal and so was no longer watertight. The container is now a screw top plastic tub, large enough for most trackables and other exchanges. The co-ords may be variable due to the numerous trees in the area.
The terrain level reflects the overall state of the ground for the entire walk in all seasons. Occasionally pheasant shoots are carried out, so be aware of this at certain times of the year.
