Geocache Description:

LET ME TAKE YOU on a lovely little walk that I found whilst walking our Georetriever the other day. The cache is not at the given coordinates this is just a random place. To get to the cache I have devised a mischievous puzzle that you will need to decipher to reveal the secret coordinates.

Have a think about this apparently random information:

A - Ronnie Kray was finally convicted for murder in 1969.

B - George Bernard Shaw is the only person to have been awarded both a Nobel Prize in literature and an Oscar.

C - Bernard Montgomery was made a Knight of the Order of the Garter in 1946.

D - Henry Fielding was an English Novelist who wrote his most famous novel in 1749

E - John Thaw rose to fame as Flying Squad detective Jack Regan in 1974

F - Franklin D Roosevelt and Winston Churchill were probably the most iconic statesmen of the Second World War.

Start at the beginning and you will obtain some numbers for each of the above letters. The cache can be found by using the following simple equation:

N52 3(A-1) . (B+2) (C-3) 8 W001 2(D+6) . (E-6) (F-8) 9

Good luck
