In an effort to build cacher awareness of the historic caches in Mecosta County, Michigan, this challenge has been issued. The cache container for this challenge is located at the given coordinates. It is a small camo'd lock and lock and the difficulty/terrain rating for this cache is based on the seven caches in the challenge not the actual cache find itself. In order to claim credit for this challenge, you must find and log five of the current seven oldest existing caches in Mecosta County (your choice of which five). If you are the cache owner of an item on the list, you may count it as a find for purposes of this challenge (so you do not have to make an actual find on your own cache). Once the five caches have been found and logged, you may find and log this cache. You may either prove you have met the challenge by posting your finds to a public bookmark or you may list your finds in the body of your log on this cache. Either way, be sure to give the waypoint, cache name, and date found. Prior finds do count.
The current list of oldest caches in Mecosta County are as follows:
GCBC3 River Damm Site
GCJTAH You can't rest here
GCJZ1A View of an Osprey
GCNOVX A Dam great spot 2005
GC1683B By "Mothers" Side
GCZVXF Two of a Kind
GC13A9J How to Save a Life
If you have found a cache now archived in mecosta county older than any of these caches I will count that as one of your five.
Parking is not readily available, so please park street side in the neighborhood
You are looking for a small Camo'd locking type plastic container. Cache is just large enough to hold small trackables.
Congrats to Will IB Ready on the FTF
