Esta Wherigo (WIG) foi criada com base em acontecimentos e histórias associadas à Torre de Rádio, vividas por um grupo de sobreviventes, numa das fases da série de televisão “Lost”. O jogo desenvolve-se ao longo de várias etapas, que envolvem desafios em contrarrelógio, salvar sobreviventes, procurar outros, recuperar um rádio transmissor (essencial para pedir socorro e sair da ilha!), interpretar mapas e resolver puzzles, pelo que recomendamos que programes antecipadamente a tua visita e que leves o seu GPS “cheio de energia”!
Nesta nova versão podes conquistar duas caches bonus, disponíveis em diferentes níveis do jogo (GC66ED9 e GC66ED3)!
Foram também adicionadas duas ajudas bónus novas, que terás igualmente de conquistar, e que te vão dar dicas (se assim o entenderes) para a resolução dos desafios que tens de enfrentar.
Para além disto, encurtamos as distâncias, para saíres o mais rápido possível da ilha, pois… há (também) um monstro à solta!

[ENG] THE CACHE
This Wherigo (WIG) was built based in some events related with the Radio Tower from Lost TV Series. The game is played over several stages which involves challenges like rescuing survivors, search for another ones, recover a radio transceiver (essential to call for help and leave the island!), read maps and solve puzzles, and much more. For this we recommend that you schedule your visit in advance and take your GPS “full of energy”!
In this new version you can claim two bonus caches in the different game levels (GC66ED9 and GC66ED3)!
There are also two new extra bonus helps that you will have to earn which will support you (if you wish) on solving the challenges during the game.
We have reduced the distances to get you out of the island as quickly as possible because… there's (also) a monster chasing you!

[PT] SOBRE A SÉRIE “LOST”
A famosa série de televisão “Lost” (em Portugal, “Perdidos”), viu o seu primeiro episódio ser transmitido há cerca de 10 anos (22 de setembro de 2004, EUA), e versava sobre a vida dos sobreviventes do voo 815 da Oceanic Airlines, que se despenhou numa ilha tropical misteriosa. Lá, tiveram de lidar com um monstro desconhecido, um grupo misterioso e imprevisível de habitantes, ursos polares, e ainda, de conviver uns com os outros, enquanto tentavam sobreviver e ser resgatados. A sua história na ilha desenvolveu-se em torno da Iniciativa DHARMA, um projeto abandonado que existe naquele enigmático lugar.
A Torre de Rádio foi uma estrutura construída pela Iniciativa, um projeto de investigação posto em prática na ilha, entre os anos 1970 e inícios de 1990, a fim de retransmitir os resultados das experiências para os seus promotores e apoiantes externos, tendo por objetivo geral a manipulação de leis científicas e alterar qualquer um dos seis fatores da Equação de Valenzetti.
Especificamente, objetivo da Torre de Rádio, de acordo com o video Sri Lanka, passava por transmitir os valores fundamentais numéricos da Equação de Valenzetti (identificados como "Os Números": 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 e 42). Se qualquer um dos projetos de pesquisa da Iniciativa DHARMA conseguisse alterar um dos valores numéricos em causa, a transmissão de rádio seria alterada, passando assim essa informação aos promotores e apoiantes no mundo exterior.
[ENG] ABOUT “LOST”
The television series “Lost”, which had its first episode broadcasted ten years ago (September 22, 2004, USA), predominantly followed the lives of the survivors of the 815 flight from the Oceanic Airlines which crashed on a mysterious tropical island. There, they had to negotiate an unknown monster, an unpredictable group of prior occupants, strange, other worldly island inhabitants, polar bears, and each other as they tried to survive and attract rescue. Their story on the island was developed having as background the DHARMA Initiative, an abandoned project that exists in that mysterious place.
The Radio Tower was a structure built by the DHARMA Initiative, a scientific research project that had a large presence on the Island between the 1970’s and the early 1990’s with the general goal of manipulate the scientific laws in order to change any of the six factors of the Valenzetti Equation
Likely constructed sometime in the 1970's, the Radio Tower's purpose, according to the Sri Lanka Video, was to broadcast the core numerical values of the Valenzetti Equation (aka “The Numbers”: 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42). If any of the DHARMA research projects on the Island succeeded in changing one of the digit values, the broadcast would be changed, signaling their backers in the outside world that "the one true way" had been found to change the Valenzetti Equation.
