O Mirante São José dos Alpes fica a 8 Km do Horto Florestal por estrada de terra (É ACONSELHÁVEL USAR VEÍCULO 4x4) e em dias sem nuvens é possível avistar a maioria das cidades do Vale do Paraíba e até mesmo parte de Ilha Bela.
Para acessar o Mirante, pegue a estrada de terra um pouco antes da entrada do Horto Florestal (à direita), em S22 41.474 W045 29.477.
The Belvedere St. Joseph of the Alps is 8 km from the Horto Florestal (by a dirty road; 4x4 VEHICLE IS ADVISABLE) and on cloudless days one can see most of the cities of the Paraíba Valley and even part of Ilha Bela.
To access the belvedere, take the dirt road just before the entrance of the Horto Florestal (at the right), at S22 41.474 W045 29.477.
