We will be supplying ham BBQ, hotdogs, buns & condiments, bottled water, plates, plastic ware, & napkins. Please bring any other drinks you prefer and a pot luck side dish or dessert to share with the group.
Tharp Knob Picnic Area is adjacent to the Tharp Knob Overlook which provides a panoramic view of the Youghiogheny River Gorge and the town of Ohiopyle. The picnic area has a large ball field, volleyball court, playground, two pavilions, restrooms and access to the Kentuck Trail and loop hiking trails. No electric is available at the pavilion.
