Meander On Milpera Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

simkat: So the council is going to be spending the next 12 months tearing up the park - not a bad thing - it needed it. At this stage we don't know what parts of this multi will remain, which parts will be moved.

Sorry one and all.

So I leave you with this...

And now, the end is near
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I've traveled each and every highway
But more, much more than this
I did it my way
Regrets, I've had a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course
Each careful step along the byway
And more, much more than this
I did it my way
Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew
But through it all, when there was doubt
I ate it up and spit it out
I faced it all and I stood tall
And did it my way
I've loved, I've laughed and cried
I've had my fill my share of losing
And now, as tears subside
I find it all so amusing
To think I did all that
And may I say - not in a shy way
Oh no, oh no, not me
I did it my way
For what is a man, what has he got
If not himself, then he has naught
To say the things he truly feels
And not the words of one who kneels
The record shows I took the blows
And did it my way
Yes, it was my way

Thanks Frank.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

This Geocache spans a couple of great areas for both kids and the four legged variety,

You'll stop off at several places, find a couple of hidden containers and hopefully get the heart rate up a little.

Enjoy.

So you started off, had a chill on the bench, the kids had a play on the slide. Now down to business.

Behind you on the path you'll see some numbers on 2 little boxes either side of a big box. The numbers on the box closest the fence are:ABCDEFG and the other has HIJKLMN.

Your next stop's coordinates will be:

S37 xx.xxx & E145 yy.yyy

x1 = F + G

x2 = (D x F) - (A + C + E)

x3 = (SquareRoot D) x 2

x4 = G + (2 x F)

x5 = B - A

y1 = K - (2 x N)

y2 = J - M

y3 = H - SquareRoot K

y4 = I - J

y5 = (H - I + J - K + L - M + N) x 2

------

These coordinates should take you through to a secret cut-through. Heading up the path leads you to a great area for exercise. The walking path see you clocking up around 600 metres for every lap.

Once on the path hang a right and take a seat again - take in the views, the breeze, the mountains.

In and around this spot you should find a container that gives you the last digits for your second to last stop. Take note of the bearing that will guide you to the final stop and the cache.

The numbers in the container should help you fill in the missing numbers: S37 51.xxx E145 13.xxx

-------

Once you arrive at this last waypoint you should be standing in the middle of Australia's favourite summer sport. To get to the last stop, and the Geocache, just walk 100 metres in the direction indicated in the last find. It should be a bearing between 0 and 360 degrees.

-----

Enjoy,
