The original Bentham Bogey (GC24GGR) lived near here for 4 years and was popular with those travelling along the A46 looking for a convenient cache stop-off.
It has now been relocated and re-published, largely due to the placement of an additional 'Bogey'
It has to be said that the stench from a nearby manure heap was quite overwhelming, so maybe we should have given it another name?
Hopefully this heap will gradually disappear?
Of course when the wind blows unfavourably, there's a bit of a niff from the nearby Pig Farm!!!!
Just to give some added interest - perhaps? There used to be a large fish pond nearby, which apparently abundant with aquatic flora and fauna. Sadly, (and obviously), this has long gone!
Whilst placing this I was closely watched by a mob of skitish bullocks!!
Hopefully this is new life for an old cache?
