A favourite with anglers, the three ponds at Waterford North Conservation Area are home to an array of fish species including largemouth bass, northern pike and a variety of panfish. Shadow Lake, Pickeral Lake, Willow Pond and Bass Lake are excellent examples of gravel pit rehabilitation, with deep rocky bottoms and pronounced shorelines. Enjoy Black Bridge, a 166-metre long, high level bridge with panoramic views of the Waterford Ponds.
Electric and up to 10 hp outboards are allowed here, but lets keep the peace today and enjoy the sounds of nature and each others voices.
There will be some water caches to find at this event.
