Geocache Description:

The Silver Bullets are coming!

What's a Silver Bullet you say?  Glad you asked. It's not Bob Seger's band, and it's not a type of ammunition. It IS, however, a type of trackable!

When:  Saturday, August 2, 2014 @ 1:15 PM

Where: Redmond Round Table Pizza (listed coordinates)

What:  Meet the Silver Bullets

Why:  To distribute the new Airstream Silver Bullet Trackable Tag

WSGA is teaming up with Groundspeak to help roll out the new Airstream trackable tag. This one of eight events being hosted around the country, and the number of tags we receive will be based on Will Attends. We will distribute the tags at the event on a first-come, first-served basis, limit one per caching family, while supplies last.

2,000 unactivated tags will be distributed nationwide, and Airstream really wants to see them activated and traveling far and wide, so they are including a copy tag for you to keep. Plus, you can upload photos of the tags in action to the Airstream Facebook page for a chance to win some swag. The slogan is: "Find one and take it some place incredible, whether it’s a big city or the great outdoors."

Visit the the Airstream Find & Go page to learn more about the promotion, photo contest, and TB tracking.

This event is open to all cachers, WSGA members or not. So, come on out to Redmond, shoot the the breeze chatting up geocaching adventures and check out the silver bullets!

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

This event is sponsored by Washington State Geocaching Association. If you are a geocacher in the state of Washington, please consider joining WSGA. See the WSGA website for details.
