Celebrate Springvale Trails Event Cache

SAVE THE DATE -- JULY 27, 2014  and plan to cache in the Sanford/Springvale area.  Get lots of smileys and snag a Door Prize ticket, then take a break, meet other cachers, share some geo-tales and light refreshments from 3:00-5:00 pm at the Celebrate Springvale Trails Event!

Celebrate  Springvale  Trails  Geocaching  Event

                        WHEN:   Sunday, July 27^th, 2014   3:00 to 5:00 pm

You are invited ~~

to spend the day caching in the Sanford-Springvale area then join me for a meet-and-greet event -- swap stories, claim door prizes and enjoy light refreshments before heading home OR heading out for more caches!

If the weather is nice, we’ll be under the spreading walnut tree. (Yup, walnut, not chestnut.)  If the weather is not cooperating, we’ll gather in the magnificent old barn that functions as a sales venue during harvest season.

This event is being held in conjunction with the Farm-to-Farm Trail Walk sponsored by the Mousam Way Trail/Sanford Trail Committees (also on the 27^th).  For more info on this Walk go to   http://sanfordtrails.org/site/    (Note:  Springvale is a village within the City of Sanford.)   

At least TEN NEW CACHES will be released for this event.  Each will have a Door Prize Ticket.  Redeem it for a Grab Bag at the Event!!   So that as many cachers as possible can snag a Door Prize, please take just one so lots of cachers can join in the fun! 

I’ve noticed that there are LOTS of NEW CACHERS this spring and summer.  I’m hoping that many new cachers will make this their first event and that we’ll have a wonderful mix of seasoned and new cachers!
