Come down to the parking lot at the Blackfoot Truck Stop and Diner and join the vehicle line-up. Our drive-thru inspection station is fast and fun! Your vehicle and all its occupants will come out the other side ready for a full-on geocaching weekend! (Don't worry, we won't actually be touching your vehicle!)
We're starting our weekend earlier than usual so you can be on the road sooner and finding caches for longer with time left over on Sunday for the other things in our lives!
The actual cache seeking element of CCARF14 starts at 10:00am, so our 9:00am Vehicle Inspection is designed to get you on the road quickly and heading to your favourite starting point. Please do not start looking for CCARF14 caches until 10:00am!
Once you start seeking out the caches that have been hidden for CCARF14, keep note of your favourite from each category as, after the weekend, we will ask you to vote for those you consider to be the best !

Pimp Your Ride!
Get your vehicles ready for Cache and Release! Whether you’re CCAR-pooling or a convoy of one, it’s nice to be recognised!
See that car up ahead? Is it? Could it be? Are they? Who was that?!Set your odometers to zero! Our Vehicle Inspectors will audit your car for Cache and Release visibility. (Don’t worry, our trained, white-gloved hands will not be touching the vehicle!) We’ll give you a full inspection report and we’ll give you a repair kit if it is needed.
What do you need to do?
• Pull out all your old Cache and Release decorations (car flags, mirror covers, etc.) and decorate your car prior to the event. The crazier, the better! Don’t forget to write your team name(s) on the windows!
• Drive to the posted coordinates and follow instructions to the vehicle line-up. Stay in your vehicle as the line will move fast! When you reach the front of the line you will directed into the inspection bay.
• Once you have passed inspection, you are on your way! We’re giving you as much time as possible to reassemble your convoys, get your maps turned right-way up, and get to where you need to be before the 10:00am start time of the finding frenzy! You will receive an envelope with CCARF14 info inside and we’ll make a printable map available a day or two prior to the weekend.

The Diner ladies will gladly fill your travel mugs with hot, fresh coffee**, and there’s a gas station right there! Got here a bit too early? Grab a delicious breakfast inside!
The CCARF14 Vehicle Inspection marks the start of the road rally portion of Cache and Release. Following this launch event, you have 26 hours to find as many of the CCARF14 caches as possible.
We offer you a chance to regroup, stretch your legs, and refuel your bodies, at midnight, back here at the Diner. We’ve also got a FREE BBQ picnic on Sunday at 12-noon! We look forward to seeing you whenever you can join in!
*We’d like to make the CITO-all-Day™ a regular thing, so we kindly ask that you return your CITO kit bags at the wrap-up event or any time afterwards if you are unable to attend, so we can refill them and get them ready for the next event.
