Geocache Description:

It has been suggested " To complete this cache, you will need a Wherigo enabled device "
(such as a Colorado, Oregon, Nuvi 500, PocketPC or Smartphone device with compatible App.)
In to which we tried using an iPod touch without a Wi-Fi zone.
Please visit Wherigo's

So unless you can tether your device to a GPS (don't bother trying, and come out with someone who can). Here is a brief history on our adventures. The related web page link will bring you to K-and-K Wheirgo once it becomes complete. However this is the easier of the two and the prototype for things to come.

The D/T rating for this cache is not for the final, but an average for what I feel, because of the ground Traveled. On that note, the Difficulty however I found is high, as we had no idea on how to create one!
Or where to begin for that matter. We hope this cache will enlighten you, as we have had fun programming it.

Trying to build a prototype Wherigo from scratch was pretty hard on an iPod Touch (3rd Generation) for the first time. The iPod touch has the ability or lets say with an accuracy of 65 meters connected to a wi-fi zone on a good day. At best it may be able to tell you the city you're in, or the street you are close to. But Without the wi-fi you might as well say it's not reliable. But for logging and for caching finding it very useful hand in hand with the GPS currently in use. So why would we even bother? Well to find out how Wherigo's work as there does not appear to be much support in the London area, or lets just say how to create one. Learning more about it, educating myself on the many beta projects that are available using a PC to create them, has been time consuming and buggy. Hence the reason why there are not very many in the neighborhood.

Thanks to : K-and-K who will try to create two in this neighborhood for folks who need to comply with a challenge, with it, we hope to educate ourselves, hoping to help others whom may also be interested in building a wherigo.
Let's begin, the coordinates you arrive @ require A Wherigo cartridge to which you must download and run on your Wherigo App . K-and-K will review individual log entries, and will attempt to answer questions in the log entries below if you DNF it. However k-and-K who is creating this cache, has an iPod touch to test this out, so your results may differ. Please note the device that you used in your log, we have added images on this Wherigo cartridge which will help you find the cache, but the final can only be found with the Wherigo App on your mobile device... Beta tested with Gillmoreski's Alcatel One Touch Cellphone.

A note for the beginner: You will now find that if you drove, walked, rode your Unicycle ... and the app was running nothing happened until you arrived at ground zero. Be patient, as for the tested devices, we found it took MANY minutes for something to pop up on the screen, so patience can be stressful. If you're here, and in a hurry these cache types are not for you. Although these types of caches simply fall under those time consuming puzzles, challenges, mystery and/or multi's category, it will require time to solve. And a little more effort then a simple traditional. For some of you, I imagine like us, may not even have made it this far in reading the description. Like most of us we simply go after the traditional caches to find the container.

Then if not, read about what we can't find later.

Remember to sit still, long enough to watch what happens to your app, and try not to move out of where you are too quickly. You see, what will happen at each virtual location, you may fall in & out of the zone and the app will get confused. So when you arrive at GZ , the posted coordinates of : N 42° 48.733 W 081° 09.553 , you see nothing but an open road "Lyle" runs North & South per say , as Blind line runs to the West. You will see a fork in the trail and notice a rail trail also joins, where if you can travel both east and west, to the east from here it will take you to St. Thomas, possibly to another related cache .

Follow the APP's instructions to complete this cache, and log your find. All entries will be deleted otherwise !

Congrats to our FTF crew : And soon to follow :
