This event is a chance for the boys of Pack 843 to discover the fun of Geocaching. We are hoping to get the help of some experienced cachers in our local geocaching community.
The event will be on
Saturday August 9th, starting at 10:00 AM, at the Entrance Pavilion of Fairview Park. Several temporary caches will be available. Scouts along with their parent(s) will be partnered with an experienced local cacher, who will guide them in the skills needed to find the caches.
We will be providing some swag to the boys, which they can then swap for swag inside the hidden caches.
This is a great chance to do two of the top things that experienced cachers love: introducing new, enthusiastic people to caching, and enjoying some camaraderie with fellow cachers.
