A well-camo’ed cache awaits you somewhere in this area near the path that stretches around the Brooklyn Navy Yard. This sleepy side of Brooklyn bleeds history, dating back to its establishment in 1801. It has seen war, social, technical & commercial innovations, strife and resolution time and again over the years. To this day, many people of New York City work hard to preserve and uphold this legacy by keeping the Navy Yard current with the changing times. To learn more about this historic site and its future potential, check out BLDG 92, an information depot of sorts located at the intersection of Carlton & Flushing Avenues. There’s also a bunch of photo ops to be had along Admiral’s Row as well as the interior of the Yard…and for those with the thirst, there is a distillery there too. The cache is placed near a highly trafficked MSR with walkers, riders and drivers abound.
