Geocache Description:

Welcome to Bigfoot Country and home of the Bonneville Bigfoots Search!

Learn about the many unique features of picturesque North Bonneville Washington as you search for 10 Bigfoots and their caches hiding out and about along the community's Hamilton Creek Discovery Trail as well as the Bonneville Hot Springs Resort!  This cache is part of a continuing series of caches that lead around the trail...

The Trail...

Following the Hamilton Creek Trail route you are now heading to the east as the trail slowly makes its way back towards the Discovery Loop. The beautiful canopy of trees to your right is part of the Hamilton Creek Riparian Area. Riparian areas refer to the unique ecosystems that surround the banks of rivers and streams. They serve numerous important functions for many living things including Bigfoots and humans alike. Take a moment at the Riparian Interpretive Stop to learn the importance of these areas to many living creatures including Bigfoots and humans alike.

The Shy Bigfoot...

While friendly, we Sasquatch are often timid especially amoungst our new human surroundings here in North Bonneville. In these siutations, we often find cover in the trees such as these firs when startled. In fact, one of the Bigfoots is in these firs now. Can you find him and his cache? He's shy, but he will not mind you approaching if friendly.. smiley
