St.-Rochuskapel, ook z.g. "Kapel van Abswellen", gelegen op de scheiding van de wegen naar Vrolingen en Borgloon. Het eerste gebouw bestond reeds in XVIII en werd in de Franse revolutionaire periode afgebroken. Ca. twintig jaar later werd de kapel, aangeduid in de Atlas van de Buurtwegen (1844), heropgebouwd in vakwerk door de inwoners van Abswellen. Echter in 1892 was dit opnieuw erg bouwvallig en werd het in steen herbouwd, dankzij de bijdragen van vnl. de bewoners en het gemeentebestuur.
De cache gaat volledig op in de natuurlijke elementen die er gebruikt zijn.

La chapelle Rochus qui on apelle aussi La chapelle de Abswellen, qui se trouve a la séparation des chemin de Vrolingen vers Borgloon Le premier bâtiment existait déja en xvlll siècle et est démoli pendant la révolution francaise Environs 20 ans plus tard ,on a indiqué la chapelle dans l'atlas de chemin vicinal (1844 ) reconstrui en colombage par les habitants d'Abswellen. Mais en 1892 ,le bâtiment était de nouveau très délabré,et en l'a reconstruit en briques, grâce de l'aide des habitants et l'administration communale.
Une indication.................La cache est tout a fait en éléments naturels.
English version: The Chapel of St Rochus. A little chapel for a nice small cache or just to rest a bit or have a picknick.
The Chapel of St Rochus or "the Chapel from Abswellen" is situated on the crossroad of Vrolingen and Borgloon. The first chapel existed already in XVIII and was demolished at the French Revolution. A 20 years later, the chapel was rebuild in timbered elements by the people of Abswellen. However, in 1892 it was ruinous again and it became rebuild again in stone with money of the local inhabitants and the council.
The cache fits in the natural elements that are used.
