The church of St James consisted only of a chancel and a nave. The walls are of rubble with stone dressing, partly plastered, and the roofs are covered with tiles. The chancel was probably built around 1230 and the nave was rebuilt late in the 14th century, when it was widened in the south. The chancel was restored in 1914. Late in the 20th century, the church was deconsecrated, modified and turned into a private house.
