The Osborne View is situated right on the seafront in Hill Head, with fantastic views across the Solent.
We have been allocated the lower floor of the pub which is down a flight of stairs from the street entrance. Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access to the lower floor, although there will probably be cachers spread around the whole pub!
The pub's car park is opposite the street entrance. Please note that it is barrier controlled, with a numeric keypad to exit. The code will be printed on food/drink receipts, but ALL ATTENDEES WILL RECEIVE THE CODE regardless of whether they eat or drink. We will write the code in the event logbook, or you can ask one of the event hosts. There is also free street parking around the local roads.
As usual the travel bug chest will be there, and Rod will be running the raffle.
We'd love to see lots of first-timers, so please come along and meet some fellow cachers! There will be plenty of opportunity to exchange tales of caching adventures and get some hints about local puzzles.
