Bridge House is located in Frampton Cotterell, on the banks of the River Frome. It is a residential nursing home with a difference: it has a miniature railway in the gardens.
The trains and railway are maintained by a group of amateur enthusiasts.
The trains are a delight to see in action, most bank holidays when the gardens are open to the public.
There are steam locomotives as well as diesel.
The area is very suited to walks with the Frome Valley Walkway passing nearby and dogs who enjoy a splash about will enjoy the river too.
