Our first letterbox hybrid! A moderate walk along the Quarry Trail. There is some PO in the area of the final hide, but none near it. For now (this is Tilden after all).
DO NOT TAKE THE STAMP OR INK PAD-- they are not trade items and are essential for cachers and letterboxers to record their visits.
Instructions:

From the Lower Big Springs trailhead, take the left fork (Quarry Trail) and proceed to the Trail Junction coordinates.

From the Quarry trailhead, bear right at the junction with the Seaview Trail and proceed to the Trail Junction coordinates.

When you reach the posted coordinates, turn downhill along a well-defined path.

When the path opens up to a meadow, bear right along the edge of the bushes until you see a metal pipe sticking out of the ground.

Face the pipe with your back to the meadow. The letterbox will be in front of you a little to the right.

If you are a letterboxer or a hybrid letterboxer, please stamp our logbook with your stamp and stamp your book with our stamp.

If you are a geocacher, you may sign the logbook.

After returning the container to the proper spot, make sure that it is not obvious to muggles, especially from the approach. Use some natural camo if available.
The name of the cache has nothing to do with the location of the hide, but it may be useful if you are working on certain challenges.
Effective 8/3/2016: You must SIGN the log. While there was a pen/pencil in the cache when it was placed, it may be missing. If you do not sign or stamp the log, you have not found it and your log will be deleted. Bring an implement to write with!
