13. Května 1926 byla kaplička ve Vonšově vysvěcena a bylo sem povoleno přinášet posvátnou mešní oběť.
15.11.1994 byla kaple prohlášena kulturní památkou Ministerstvem kultury.
V roce 2004 získalo kapli do svého majetku město Skalná. Kompletní oprava interiéru, střechy a fasády byla provedena v roce 2008. Dne 25. října téhož roku byla kaple ve Vonšově znovu vysvěcena skalenským farářem P. Piotrem Libnerem.
Výpočet finále je jednoduchý, je zapotřebí pouze dosadit do vzorečku:

The chapel in Vonšov was built in 1926 by Mr. Adolf Gottfried, owner of the local clay mines, to honor the Virgin Mary with the title of Mater Christi.
The chapel in Vonšov was consecrated on May 13, 1926.
November 15, 1994, the chapel was declared a cultural monument by the Ministry of Culture.
In 2004 the chapel become property of the city Skalná. Complete repair of the interior, roof and facade was made in 2008. On 25 October the same year the chapel was re-consecrated by the parish priest Piotr P. Libner.
