Puzzle: It's the start of IT U see?! Mystery Cache

This is a puzzle cache so the cache is not at the co-ordinates posted.  You should NOT go to the published co-ordinates as they are in the middle of a firing range.  The co-ordinates have not been chosen at random, however.

There is no pen at GZ - please bring your own.   You are looking for a small film canister.  

Once you have solved the puzzle and arrive at GZ the cache is very well hidden.  Please replace it equally well hidden.  I also recommend insect repellant in the biting months.  Paths around GZ can be quite squidgy (and worse) at times.  Approaching from the West is probably easier than approaching from the North/East as the latter can get very wet at times.
