There are actually two ways to get up to Kokee the Waimea way and the Kekaha Way. Visit this cache whether you're coming down the mountain or about to go up. I remember getting very anxious going up and down this route in the school bus when we would go to the discovery center for field trips. The added fog and the windy roads were bonuses on the thrill ride.
