The Church of St Mary the Virgin is the parish church in the village and parish of Ludgershall, in Buckinghamshire.
The main chancel of the current building dates back to the early 14th century, with later adjustments, in particular the tower, which was possibly added in the 15th or 16th century. Interestingly though the earliest part of church, the font, is at least of 12th century origin. Most of the fittings inside the church are from the 17th century.
Of the brasses and tombs inside the church there is a brass dated 1565 dedicated to Anne Englishe, and an interesting tomb with a pyramidal roof for the Spiers family.
Of the previous vicars of the church of particular note was the philosopher and theologian John Wycliffe, who was the vicar here in the 14th century.
