Bring a fishing pole and try your luck fishing in the Sunrise river. Please watch for wood ticks, and deer ticks. We saw wild turkeys in the area and the deer are plenty. Whenever hunting season is upon us, PLEASE take precautions when in this public hunting area. Wearing blaze orange will help.
This cache has been replaced with a plastic waterproof storage container on 7/11/2022 after the ammo box went missing. Rethink your access strategy if you see "Private Property" and "Private drive" signs. The cache site is easily accessible by public land, and no swimming is involved. This site is a nice picnic area.
