Geocache Description:

Another infant formula or Rx bottle, continuing in the stye of the Moriarty (and Samson Won) caches above, simple tree-hangers to spice the trail and make time and miles pass more swiftly by.  If approaching from the North, see the Moriarty Series description for reference to the Babbitt Road (Flagstaff) trailhead, or the Samson Won cache description for advice re: parking below Lake Elaine.

This portion of the trail down to Lake Mary Road (see closest Trailhead/Parking below), or to Marshall Lake (should you venture to turn left about 3/4-miles below this cache and stick to the Arizona Trail) is pretty active.  Never do I walk this area without meeting others out for exercise and beauty, many with knapsacks for picnic items.  I also see many on bicycle, but I do not know how a cyclist would connect with Lake Mary Road.  Trail offers an easy walk from this cache down to within a short distance of parking, where it abruptly turns to head steeply upward (about a #8  treadmill exercise, but with loads of spots for sitting down and resting) from the canyon to the Lake Mary Road elevation above.  Some beautiful meadows...

P.S.: As long as you're here (maybe), you might want to visit the nearby cave (pic below - see cache entitled, A Great Walnut Canyon Hide-a-way for info).
