IMPORTANT: Please take note of the police signs in the car park and ensure that valuables are not left in the car when you head off on your search.
This cache is placed so that you can attempt it while heading back to your car (assuming you parked in the main Car Park) after walking around the walls. The cache is hidden in a small (about the size of a block of butter) plastic container. There is room in the container for small exchanges or TB's but please remember to leave room to exchange coins.
What you have to do is remove the coin from the cache container and replace it with the next smallest denomination. For example the cache was set with a £1 coin in the bag. This will need to be exchanged with a 50p coin, the 50p then to be replaced with a 20p coin. This process continues until there is a 1p coin in the cache. At that point the unfortunate person who finds it must replace it with a £1 coin.
When logging your find on Geocaching.com please record what coin you took and left, and if you leave a spoiler please encrypt it because the next person attempting this one will have to read the log entries.
Additional Clues for another local cache
Roman Coins has become custodian for a clue to find another cache in the area. This clue along with that from 2 other local Romans will be needed to find the 4th cache in the series. Please do not remove the clue from the cache - it is a single number stuck to the lid.
